Cytocast is a biotech startup that simulates protein interactions in cells to predict the effect of perturbations caused by diseases and treatments. We are a new company – recently graduated from Design Terminal and GE’s Health Venture Lab, and we are looking for some of our first passionate employees to join our international team to shape the future of medicine with us.

Essential Duties Include but Are Not Limited To

• Developing web-based GUI for running and monitoring and visualise the results of the simulation pipeline
• The used technology is not specified for frontend development, but the applicant must be able to work independently with that technology

What we expect

• Experience in related field
• Biological knowledge is not necessary, but must be ready to work with biological data
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Proficiency in English

Preferred

• MSc in related field
• Backend programming experience (preferably in Golang)
• Knowledge about cloud technologies (web hosting solutions and/or Kubernetes)

We offer a competitive salary and stock option according to our Employee Stock Option Plan. You can choose between working remotely or you are welcome to join our Budapest office.
